With growing visitor numbers and interest from around the world, now was the perfect time to expand our reach through an accessible, globally available military shop online.

The new D-Day shop is rooted in community. Led by Centre Manager Steve Cleaver, the museum has worked closely with South Coast Embroidery and HenDog Designs, both of whom are based on Portland and share a passion for quality, heritage, and sustainability.
South Coast Embroidery
Alexandra and Kyle of South Coast Embroidery, based in Fortuneswell, have revitalised the Centre’s apparel offering. Their new range includes t-shirts, beanies, baseball caps, and tote bags, each item designed with durability and environmental responsibility at its core. Among the highlights are beanies made entirely from recycled polyester yarn, repurposed from plastic bottles. Their printing methods use OEKO-TEX-certified inks, which help reduce ecological impact without compromising on vibrant, lasting designs.

Meanwhile, HenDog Designs, founded by identical twin sisters Lulu and Soph in Weston, have channelled their passion for imaginative, eye-catching design into a bespoke souvenir range for the museum shop.
